18TH C PA Dutch Decorated Wrought Iron PRESENTATION MEAT FORK

Description

We are pleased to offer another very RARE and SPECIAL Item from our 50 year collection.  A Pennsylvania Dutch Decorated PRESENTATION Meat Fork.  These forks were RARE because they were not everyday Meat Forks.  They were decorated with scrolled iron. They were typically part of a Daughter's Dowry or a Special Anniversary present for the Wife.
This great fork has three 4 1/2" Long Forged Tines, and the 20" Handle has 8 curlicues of scrolled iron decoration.  The Handle ends in a very nice Pig Tail Hanging Loop.  It is very solid and heavy.  Just absolutely beautiful blacksmithing workmanship.
This PA Dutch Wrought Iron Meat Fork shows very little use.  The finish consists of the old original black patina.
It is in UNTOUCHED condition - NO restoration or repairs.
It is a must have for unique Wrought Iron collectors, and it is being offered at a very affordable price.
