    Description

    We are pleased to offer a very EARLY Decorated UNIQUE Primitive Piece from our collection.  A long handled Decorated Pot Lifter.  As pots sat in the hot coals, their bales got extremely hot.  Consequently, the Pot Lifters were a necessity to remove pots from the hot hearth.  This Lifter is RARE and UNIQUE in design with twist decoration in the handle and hanging loop.  Pot Lifters don't come up for auction that often.
    The condition is Wonderful, and the surface shows very nice patina.
    It is in UNTOUCHED condition - NO restoration or repairs.  Just a wonderful early example.
    A must have one of a kind addition to your collection!
    It measures 15 1/2" Long.
