    A VERY RARE EARLY 18TH CENTURY NEW ENGLAND WROUGHT IRON TWO TINE TASTING FORK, CIRCA 1740-1760 IN an OLD POLISHED SURFACE AND PATINA.
    AN EXTREMELY FINE AND DELICATE EXAMPLE.
    Rare form, great tool marks and wonderful shaped handle.
    These two tine tasters were just that, they were used to taste the food that were being made on the hearth.
    These are becoming harder and harder to find.
