    A GREAT MATCHED PAIR OF LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY ROLLED IRON AND BRASS WEDDING BAND HOGSCRAPERS, AMERICAN, Circa 1780-1820 in great old surface and patina IN WONDERFUL CONDITION.
    A great pair of early hogscraper candlesticks with their original brass wedding band decoration. They retain their original hangers and push up tabs.
    The brass WEDDING BAND rings have great old color and patina. The surface on the iron is untouched, old and grungy with traces of an old or original black.
    From an old collection, these sticks were purchased at a major antiques show over 20 years ago.
    NICE EARLY bolt and nut BOTTOM CONSTRUCTION.
    They stand 6 1/2" tall, 4 1/4" across the base.
    There are no repairs or restorations. Both push-ups are still intact and tight. The hangers are also still intact.
    Typical wear and tear and the usual iron pitting appropriate to an antique of this age.
