For your consideration is an Early 19th C New England Sampler with Wonderful Colors and Composition.
Purchased this many years ago from CT EBay Dealer , Dealer purchased at auction in MA.
There are 3 rows of Alphabets over one row of numbers
Strawberry Vine Border and Center Row Strawberry Vine
Wonderful wool flame stitch style panels in vibrant reds blues and greens
The alphabets and lettering are very faded and cannot determine date or makers name , alphabets are faded as well
Homespun linen backing , believe combination silk and wool threads used
There are minor holes fading and losses , overall composition is very pleasing.
Site Size 15.5” x 15.5” frame size 19” wide 19.5” high
Believe is original frame , I have not taken the sampler out of the frame
