For sale we have a excellent fresh to the market antique primitive hand made wooden polychrome painted double sided game board in very nice all original untouched condition. We date the board to the 1890's to the early 1900's. The game board has a very nice primitive folk art look with a nice mellowed paint retention. The patina on the game board is all original and has the look. The colors are bold and not faded on either side and have a great natural varrigated look. The painted surface has not been touched up or altered in any manner. The natural wood has mellow to a nice rich brown patina. The board is painted on laminate wood with a pine wood boarder. The game board is painted in multi colors. The overall condition is very nice with no issues other than some paint flicks and some light discoloration and a minor scuff here and there nothing major. We tried to picture any affected areas. The corners of the board all have usage and natural age wear. The game board is approx. 19" by 19" and makes it easy to hang or display. Overall this is a excellent survivor in condition and paint retention and would make a great addition to a folk art or game board collection. We will have the board professionally packed and insured for shipment at our cost.
