    Description

    We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure an antique cast iron seat that is farm and agriculture related. It is a smaller size cast iron seat that was used on some type of foot pedal operated device such as a pedal grindstone, pedal potato slicer and some type of coping saw etc.. It is in good condition with the seat mounting bracket with a screw head bolt. The screw head of this bolt fits nicely in the counter sunk area of the cast iron seat. However, we do not have the nut. The bolt has damage on the bottom from what appears to of been cut or broken off. The seat has its nice original metal patina. It is not cracked or broken anywhere. Crosswise edge to edge at its furthest width it measures 9 3/4”. Vertically from edge to edge it measures 7 1/2”. The seat is formed to rather fit ones seat (behind). We are listing the above collectible cast iron seat and or useable if you have a piece of equipment that it would work with at a no reserve selling price. So, thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
