    Description

    This is an antique Federal era brass interior door latch, circa 1790 to 1810, or so, and made for use on an interior door of a Colonial house in New England. Latch is 8 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide, and it has the original working thumb piece. Condition is original and excellent, and it has not been polished in a long time. This would have been fastened to the door with 6 brass screws through the holes on the arrow-shaped terminals. This was just found in New England. Shipping is .00 First Class mail.
