    Description

    This is an antique hand made wooden whistle that still works, circa late 1800s. Whistle looks to be made of poplar, and it has a wonderful old dark brown wood color with fine patina from age. It is 11 1/2" long with a 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" rectangular end, and the 5 1/2" long round handle tapers to a mouthpiece with a hole in the end to blow the whistle. The whistle is glued together along with one screw on top near the whistle hole, as pictured. This was just found in New England. Shipping is .00 First Class mail.
