Antique, Primitive Plank Top Stool; Splay Legs; Wonderful Dark Chocolate Paint;
19th c
These plank top stools are becoming harder to find. The splay legs have one  mustard painted stencil line. It is quite sturdy and structurally sound. The thick plank measures 1.75 inches 'thick'. The length is 11.5 inches, the height is 6.75 inches and the width is 6.3 inches. There are nicks and scrapes on it that are consistent with its age and use. It's made of pine. The sides are canted. The paint is a very deep chocolate. It would make a wonderful display piece for 'smalls' or.........I think you will
