Antique Scythe Sickle blade Rixford USA huge 34” sword size farm decor reaper

You are bidding on a Antique Scythe Sickle blade in good condition. This is an unusually large sickle blade that measures a massive 34” long and has a duck head style handle mount. It is made by Rixford USA not sure of exact date but I would guess the 1930s sometime. It has been hammer forged from iron. There are lots of tool marks and visible forge marks in spots. It has a folded ribbed re-enforced spine and slight recurve to the blade. The blade has been used a lot and has some corrosion and other use marks. The edge has a sight bend warp near the handle mount and some other small dings but the edge is actually still pretty sharp. It does not include a handle. It could probably be restored for use again or it would look great as a decoration in your den or shop. Please look at all the photos before bidding and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. These are in used condition and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage.
