Description
A Beautiful Brass Upgrade to Any Vintage Gibson Electric!Have you ever wondered what metal the Liberty Bell is made of? What material any "real" bell is made of? Usually BRASS. And why is that material used? Because it "rings"! Because its perfect for converting mechanical energy into acoustic energy. That's why many professional guitarists use brass guitar nuts. It has
a noticeable improvement on sustain and tone
. A huge improvement over the cheap stock plastic nuts supplied with most guitars.
Many Gibson guitars from the '60's and '70's use the shorter 1 9/16" (1.56") nut. Please be sure that you don't need the longer 1 11/16" nut that is "standard" these days.
Our nut is hand ground and sanded from solid brass and round-slotted for perfect string placement. All hand-made - no machines. Very attractive brushed surface finish. 3/16" thick, 5/16" tall, 1 9/16" long
