    Description

    BLACK TUSQ XL SLOTTED 42 X 6mm NUT (PT-6642-00)
Up for auction is a brand new Black TUSQ nut (Black TUSQ was formerly known as Trem Nut). Please note, these items are bought in bulk and do not have the factory packaging that individual items have. They are brand new and never used.
One of the key causes of tuning frustration is string binding at the nut. Black TUSQ NUTS alleviate the binding grip of the nut on the string and reducing friction between the nut material and the string. This is accomplished using a nut manufactured from an engineered resonant base material impregnated with Teflon. As strings move across a TREM-NUT, they shear open microscopic “capsules” loaded with millions of “ball bearing” type lubricants. For strings, it’s like a hardwood floor covered in marbles... strings roll back into tune. It’s that simple! TREM-NUTs are factory-installed by many major guitar manufacturers including Carvin, Parker Guitars, Brain Moore Custom Guitars, Steinberger, and the Fender Custom Shop for good reason: TREM-NUT will keep your guitar in tune longer than graphite, bone plastic or synthetic nuts. In addition, a TREM-NUT has crystal clear tone and sustain.
