    Description

    Antique cracker tin from Davenport, IA. Item is very primitive circa 1900 (the factory burnt down in 1915 and I believe this is pre rebuild.) It has condition issues... ie, dents, scratches paint loss so please see the photos. The most damage to the tin is the top of the lid where the graphics are not readable. The four sides of the cube are readable.  I also noted part of the hinge is rusted but it is still attached and working. The hinge issue is shown in photo 6. Upper edge of box is rough so opening and closing the tin takes a minute. This item best used as a display piece rather than every day use to store something. Measures approx. 7" tall x 9" wide x 8" deep.
