This AA-grade round machine-cut red garnet features a wine-red color and facets that catch and reflect the light.  Traditional red garnet derives its deep color from iron and magnesium. Garnet exhibits few inclusions, and those that are present tend to be rounded, seedlike crystals with irregular edges. Garnet is the birthstone for January(Jan. 21-Feb.18). .
