    Description

    late 18th century early 19th cent gameboard. Mustard and red with wells at ends for checkers. Some square nails and a few wire nils probably added a long time ago to stabilize. Boards at ends on back carved to create feet for board. Purchased 40+ years ago from a prominent antique dealer in Connecticut. Measures 28”x17”x2”. Obvious wear consistent with age and use.
