    Description

    Up for sale is a primitive antique late 18th early 19th century hatchel or flax comb recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  Handmade with handmade square and rose head, rosette, nails. Very primitive.  Losses to the top of some of the nails.  These were used in the production of making linen.  Nice early primitive tool.  Very heavy for its size.
