Primitive folk art...Grungy Pumpkin Doll.  He's dressed in a grunged in a Halloween orange, yellow and black stripes and white dots, cotton fabric jumpsuit.  A vintage, black button is sewn on his chest with a coordinating, grungy, muslin fabric collar.
His head, body, arms and legs are made of stuffed osnaburg.  Painted, sanded, then grunged with coffee and cinnamon stain and sanded again.
He measures 18 inches from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
String hanger in back for hanging.
Doll will come to you signed and dated.

All items are from a "smoke free" home
...handcrafted in my little sewing room (sometimes at the kitchen table to be closer to the coffee) in my respective home, with loving attention paid to small details. Dolls are made of quilters muslin that has been painted and sanded and then painted and sanded again and then stained and sanded again. This gives the fabric a rich patina that feels like old leather.
