The Farmer's Wife
was a monthly women's magazine
published
for 42 years.
It was first published in 1897 and ending
as an independent publication in 1939.
It offered advice about farming, housekeeping and cooking.
It also published fiction. At its peak, it had well
over a million subscribers nationally.
The art work on The Farmer’s Wife magazine was some of
the most beautiful and represented many artists.
The artists depiction of these farm women is just lovely and has both class and style.
