Description

Beautiful antique Italian apothecary chest for your home or office.  This handsome cabinet features an all wood construction gilt in gold with red undertones.  Inside the two magnet closing doors are 10 drawers; one large top drawer and nine smaller drawers, each individually numbered for proper insertion.  Imported by Lafayette Galleries of Lexington, Kentucky, an importer of fine goods.  Unknown maker but presumed to be early 20th century Italian.`The condition on this piece is rustic, with no structural damage.  Excellent aged patina of worn and chipped paint as well as fine crazing of the finish which is a gilded gold.  The interior of the two outer doors are unfinished.  This stunning piece measures aprox. 16" tall, 15" wide and 8" deep, with a weight of 20 pounds.
